Ciao! I’m Toni. Over the past several years, life has taken me on a whirlwind journey. I have faced serious health issues, navigated the aftermath of several surgeries, completed graduate school, and endured an unexpectedly difficult career transition – while sometimes being a caregiver, experiencing loss, and dealing with other obstacles.

While I hoped to have more time to recover financially and follow a more “traditional” path to parenthood, I recently learned that my body has a different timetable. In July 2025, I felt compelled to schedule an appointment with a fertility specialist, and that decision proved crucial. An ultrasound revealed a low ovarian reserve for my age and other concerns, meaning I need to follow through with the treatment plan immediately if I want any chance of being able to have a child.

To be transparent, the estimated cost of IVF procedures, appointments, physician and facility fees, anesthesia, an exclusive donor, shipping and retrieval fees, testing, labs, genetic consultations, and the maximum estimates quoted for medications, total $46,455. This figure reflects the comprehensive care and steps required by the specialists I’ve chosen for this journey and will be adjusted if less medication or fewer tests are required, for example. As I’ve already paid for some appointments, tests and labs, and have the required deposit for treatment, my goal amount will reflect current needs.  

What began as a consultation swiftly became a day filled with labs, receiving financial information, learning about fertility options and donor education, and much more. My dream is to become a parent. Having transitioned from freelance to a new role with enough flexibility to move forward, I still lack the W2 employment history to qualify for fertility financing options. They aren’t feasible, even though I’m committed to repaying any loans.

Since promises alone aren’t enough, I’m searching for alternative ways to cover treatment as I rebuild my work history in a new industry and urgently try to preserve my reproductive health. Payments for procedures and donor vials are due in full prior to the start of treatment. Coping with these diagnoses and deadlines has been overwhelming, but I remain hopeful. My goal is to become a single mother by choice, supported by a dedicated village with a strong background in education and heartfelt passion for working with children.

I am deeply grateful for any generosity shown through donations. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference. I am working and actively seeking additional remote jobs to supplement my income, so that I can continue treatment as soon as possible. I’ll update the goal with every deposit and donation received outside of this platform. Additionally, I will stop fundraising once my goal is met, or I identify any other resources to cover costs.
